Chandrasekhar Singh
Documentary Photographer  ·  34 Years  ·  National Geographic Award Winner

I'm Chandrasekhar Singh, founder of Mihira Studios. The name Mihira is a special one — inherited from my father's pen name, carrying forward a legacy close to my heart.

I'm a documentary photographer with over 34 years of experience, deeply passionate about family photography. As a father of two and a grandfather of two, I truly understand the joy and emotion behind every family portrait.

At Mihira Studios, we welcome over 200 families every year. Our approach is built on humour, warmth, and genuine connection — because a photoshoot should be as memorable as the pictures themselves.

Over the years, I have documented people, places, fairs, and festivals across India — capturing the essence of everyday life and culture. With numerous exhibitions and publications to my credit, I also had the privilege of serving as Program Head for the Indian Photo Festival.

Among all the genres I cover, extended family photography is the one I most strongly recommend — it brings the highest satisfaction to our clients. To ensure every session is relaxed and personal, we schedule only one family shoot per day.

Our constant endeavour is to transform every image into a timeless work of art — because some day, these portraits won't just remind you how you looked. They'll remind you who you were together.
